December 1997 - Part 3

Edinburgh Analysis

Colin on Litton

Colin Stevens tweaks the handbrake and manages to stop the wheels spinning enough to get over the kerb at the top of Litton. It was Haggside that stopped him getting a gold. (pic by Tom Goggin)

Where the field fell

Litton was the big one this year but most of the Falcons went clear.

Litton

Was it because we were all running towards the back of the field. Apart from the class eights it seemed to matter.

Alans type 3 on Litton

Alan Bellamy stormed up Litton in his type three Fastback. However he was another victim of a cunningly placed re-start on Haggside. (pic by Tom Goggin)
