The MCC's Easter extravaganza is a very special occasion.
It's had its teeth pulled in recent years, having the road mileage reduced in
the name of political correctness, but would still be a good event even if there
were no observed sections.
|
 |
Spectators should head for Blue Hills Mine 204/728517, near Perranporth for
the best free show on earth! The first competitor will arrive at about 10.00 on
Saturday morning.

The organisers say:-
|
"The trial has run very well in it's present format for
the past 2 years so I do not intend to change too much for the 82nd staging of
this historic event.
The changes in place are the inclusion of a Special Test
at the top of Darracott called Leddon Farm and the deletion of the Hurstock test
in Cardinham Woods. All competitors will attempt the deviation at the top of
Blue Hills 2 and the re-start for certain classes will not be where you expect
it!
Class 0 competitors will see more exciting changes with
the deletion of Roly Poly and inclusion of Darracott Observed section and Leddon
Farm Special Test. Also the option of attempting Blue Hills 2 or Old Blue Hills.
Both Blue Hills sections will be observed for Class 0 as passage controls, so
failing either will not jeopardise your Cornish Tin Medal if you are clean up to
that point............. "
