This year’s event will follow its successful format with many traditional
and favourite trials hills. Enthusiasts have competed to climb many of our
sections for years, with the earliest reference to The Nailsworth Ladder
dating back to 1913, when a W.J. Brunel won a cigarette box for being the
first competitor to reach the top riding his Douglas motorcycle. Other
sections continue to challenge and please with Crooked Mustard, Merve Swerve,
Ham Mill, Wicked Juniper, Highwood and Bull Banks also present.
The nature of the event in conjunction with the work that is carried out to
sections ensures that it is well suited to all classes of car, and that damage
to any vehicle is likely to be averted.
Our new start venue SKF is just off Junction13 of the M5. The finish is at
our club Headquarters, The Crown Inn at Minchinhampton where B&B and hot meals
are being provided.
This event is popular on the trialling calendar and has a reputation of
being over subscribed. So if you wish to compete in this event then please
apply as soon as possible and we will do everything possible to ensure you
have a run.
If you are not entering then please consider marshalling and contact Chief
Marshal Ian Moss to offer your services.
